No. Transfers are free. You will need to contact your domain registrar and request dns changes to transfer your hosting. Complete instructions and nameserver information will be provided to you in your welcome email.

Can I upgrade my account?
You can upgrade or downgrade your account at any time. There is no fee for upgrading or downgrading your account. Please e-mail your request to our billing department and be sure to include your domain and userid.

How do I transfer files to my web site?
Files can be transferred to the web server using an FTP program (File Transfer Protocol). Cute FTP is a shareware FTP program, available from cuteftp.com . An FTP tutorial is available for first time users in our Online Operating Manual.
You can also use your File Manager located within your control panel to upload and download files if you do not have an FTP program.
Microsoft FrontPage users can 'publish' their sites to our server. If using FrontPage, you should use your publisher and not an FTP program.

Can I update my pages as often as I like?
Yes. You have unlimited access to your site via FTP or FrontPage 24-hours a day. As such, you can create and maintain your web pages on your own computer and upload files to your web site at your leisure. You can change and update your site as often as you want to.

Do I need FrontPage extensions?
If you are planning to design and publish your site using the Microsoft FrontPage package you will need FrontPage extensions installed on your account. If you are using any other design package then you do not need FrontPage extensions.
When you sign up for your account, you have the option of including FrontPage extensions at no extra charge. You can add FrontPage extensions for free at any time after signing up if you didn't select this option initially.

Do I need a CGI directory?
CGI scripts run behind the scenes making a web site more interactive, they are used to take information from forms, calculate prices of orders etc. If you want to use your own scripts on your site you need to have a cgi directory. All hosting plans come with a free cgi directory and several preinstalled cgi scripts.

How much data transfer will I need?
You can view your data transfer for any month at any time at your control panel. You will receive email warnings at any transfer amount and can ask us to automatically suspend, notify or do nothing when your transfer hits an amount you specify. In the event that your site is very busy and you do exceed the transfer, you can always add more data transfer.
